SureFile
This week, SureFile has been undergoing internal testing by MaidSafe staff. As you may recall, SureFile is an application that encrypts user data at the point of storage, ensuring data stored on local drives, or with third party storage providers such as Dropbox, SugarSync, Cubby…etc…is as secure as possible. This is an exciting step forward as it tests a significant percentage of our code in the ‘real world’. Our internal test team have been running SureFile on Mac and Windows (7 & 8) with the final touches being applied to Linux.
All things going well, SureFile will undergo further alpha testing next week by an external team of 40 and the timing of a future beta release is dependent on the success of these external tests.
